With a love of gaming since the early days of home computing, and (sadly) remembering the virtual reality (VR) boom in the mid-nineties, we’re all excited at the current VR resurgence where it seems as if the technology has finally caught up to the vision. We all instantly jumped aboard the VR bandwagon and loved it. However…no matter how good VR now is – and it is VERY good – none of us believed that, at least for the time being, it was worth the many hundreds of pounds to play mostly what amount to mini-games. And the idea to simply rent the systems seemed perfect.
What’s In It For You?
There are several benefits to renting a VR system. Firstly, it’s a risk-free way to see if you like it. Although you can often have a demo in store, it’s not the same as having it in your own home for the day (or night).
Renting a VR system also means that you can play the games you want without having to pay for them.
And of course, it’s massive fun! Whether playing or watching your friends and family – there’s a reason why we love VR.
